Maverik, Inc. was founded in 1928 by a man named Reuel Call. He opened a two-pump gas station in Afton, Wyoming. The company grew and once the popular television show "Maverick" debuted in the 1960s, Call named the business Maverik and created the slogan "Adventure's First Stop." Today, the gas station and convenience store is still family-run.
Maverik is a popular stop throughout the western U.S. with over 250 locations in Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Nebraska and Wyoming. It's also upholding its “Adventure’s First Stop” slogan by incorporating an "Adventure Getaways" guide on its website designed to help you plan your next adventure.
There are currently several Maverik gas cards available to frequent customers.
