IIHS top safety picks

As a fleet fuel card company, we know that safety is important when it comes to your drivers. If you’re a fleet owner who uses cars, SUVs, or vans to deliver your goods, consider choosing a fleet of vehicles that has earned the title of “Top Safety Pick.”

Since 2006, the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) has awarded their “Top Safety Pick” rating to vehicles that have gone above the normal standards of safety. Their rating is based on “crashworthiness – how well a vehicle protects its occupants in a crash” and “crash avoidance and mitigation – technology that can prevent a crash or lessen its severity.”

Here are a handful of the highest rated 2015 IIHS Top Safety Picks in each vehicle class, along with the number of years each vehicle has been on the TSP list:
