Every competitor figure on a Fuel Express comparison page comes from the provider’s own website, is labeled inline, and carries a visible verification date. Fuel Express figures come from our own program. When a figure changes or we get one wrong, we correct the page and update its date.
A comparison methodology is the standing rulebook for how competitive claims get researched, sourced, dated, and corrected. Publishing it is how a comparison earns the right to be trusted.
Where do competitor figures come from?
Public provider pages first — plan pricing, network counts, and advertised discounts as each company publishes them — supplemented by named third-party reviews where providers do not publish (per-card fees are a common example). Each claim is attributed inline in the form [Source: name], and the sources for a page’s comparison table are listed beneath it. We do not use anonymous claims, estimates, or figures we cannot trace.
How are Fuel Express figures handled?
Our own cells state program facts: acceptance at 320,000+ fuel and maintenance locations, no startup, annual, or hidden fees, and volume-based rebates quoted to each fleet in writing. Where a Fuel Express number is quote-dependent, the comparison says so rather than printing a rate your quote might not match.
How current are the numbers?
Every comparison page shows a visible Facts last verified date covering its competitor figures. Provider networks, fees, and plan tiers change often, so treat any comparison — ours included — as a starting point and confirm current terms directly with each provider before deciding.
Corrections and what we never do
If you spot an outdated or incorrect figure, contact us and we will re-verify against the source and update the page and its date. We never use review or rating markup without real third-party reviews, never present estimates as facts, and cover each provider’s genuine strengths — several are named plainly as good choices for the right fleet on our comparison pages.
